Upazila Nirbahi officer (UNO) Sayedul Arefin said Tuesday that local people spotted the fishing cat near a water body close to the house of a person named Enam Saudagor.
They managed to capture the fishing cat after two hours of frantic efforts and handed over the animal to the forest department.
